[WINDOWS] Downgrade iPhone 4S and iPad 2 to iOS 6.1.3 using OdysseusOTA without SHSH blobs

In the meanwhile, a reddit user, e1ghtSpace has some details to downgrade the updated version to the previous iOS 6.1.3 without SHSH blobs. The tool is called OdysseusOTA which can work with devices launched in 2011 or more specifically, the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Both of these devices run on the same A5 chip and can be downgraded to iOS 6.1.3 using the aforementioned OdysseusOTA.

Downgrading Tutorial

Win32 OpenSSL v1.0.2d

Step 2. Install Win32 OpenSSL v1.0.2d .

Step 3. Install iOS Terminal (BigBoss) , Apple File Conduit "2" and OpenSSH (Cydia/Telesphoreo) . Reboot your device.

chmod[space]+x[space]kloader
./kloader[space]pwnediBSS

Now device in DFU mode

Step 6.  Reconect USB cable.

Step 7.  Go to folder libimobiledevice in extract folder you downloaded. Press and hold the Shift key and right click on the folder, and click on Open command windows here . Type command:

  3. Come on man if you are going to post zip files make sure they Fucking work, The file is read as broken or corrupted. IPSW is either invalid or you did something wrong when you rebuilt it shits not working for the iPad2,1 6.1.3 Downgrade Windows zip link. Windows Extractor and 7zip both tell me everything can't be extracted because it is broken pointed towards ipsw. and I tried it anyway and received this message:
    Extracting filesystem from IPSW
    ERROR: zip_fread: 048-2634-005.dmg
ERROR: Unable to extract filesystem from IPSW

If you truly have the legitimate IPSW for iPad 2,1 6.1.3 then post it but make sure it works.

  7. ignore this method for anyone else attempting to downgrade iPhone 4s and iPad 2 on ios 8 to 6.1.3 use "beehind" downgrade method 3rd party software similar to that of Odysseus but varies in many ways. Here is the link to their site and to the gui program http://geeksn0w.it/Beehind/
